The British Bird of Prey Centre

Supporting the official launch of the Centre's new Carmarthenshire home and celebrating an ambitious Welsh organisation creating impact through conservation, education and unforgettable visitor experiences.

Celebrating a New Chapter

On 10 September 2026, business leaders, entrepreneurs and senior figures from across Wales gathered to celebrate The British Bird of Prey Centre's new home in Carmarthenshire.

Delivered by the Centre in partnership with IoD Wales and supported by MASANAS, the event celebrated the organisation's journey since opening in 2018, explored its ambitions for the future and created space for an important conversation about the skills Wales needs to thrive.

The Centre moved to its new home in October 2025. The larger facility gives its birds and team more space while creating new opportunities to expand its education, conservation and visitor programmes.

Why We Supported the Launch

MASANAS supports ambitious Welsh organisations that create lasting value for people, communities and the country.

The British Bird of Prey Centre has grown through passion, hard work and a clear sense of purpose. Its contribution reaches beyond tourism: the team helps people understand Welsh wildlife, creates memorable educational experiences and builds support for conservation.

Sponsoring the launch enabled MASANAS to celebrate that progress, connect people from across Welsh business and public life, and help give an important organisation a platform for its next chapter.

Why We Supported the Launch

The Centre has an important place in Wales' tourism economy, but its value goes much further. You can see the passion and hard work that has gone into building it, and the difference the team are making through education, conservation and getting people closer to Welsh wildlife. We're proud to have supported the event and to have celebrated this milestone with Emma and the team.

More Than a Launch Event

More Than a Launch Event

Guests saw the Centre's work brought to life through a spectacular flying display, with several species taking to the skies above the new facility.

The event also looked towards Wales's future. Chaired by Richard Selby of IoD Wales, a panel featuring Jane Lynch, Dr Owain James and Simon Pritchard explored the country's skills landscape, where the gaps are and what needs to change.

That combination reflected what the sponsorship meant to MASANAS: supporting an ambitious Welsh organisation while contributing to conversations that can make a difference to people and communities across the country.
